Thanks to its management, to its staff and to its highly qualified consulting service, Gieffeacciai makes available a significative technical support to identify and select the most suitable material to achieve its customers’ purposes.
For this reason, the sales structure relies on in-house staff for the areas close to the headquarters; for all other areas, the sales activity is supported by agents, hired and rigorously trained by Gieffeacciai.
The ownership is always personally involved in management and customer relations.
Raw material warehouse
The real strong point of Gieffeacciai!
A warehouse for raw material constantly restocked in order to quickly handle all orders, with an extreme flexibility in supplying quantities, from quintal up to tonnes.
A surface equipped with an automatic system in which about 560,000 kg of material are stored, distributed in 140 holds that contain stainless steels, alloy steels, free-cutting steels, carbon steels, for construction and for tie rods.
A warehouse that has seen a doubling of its surface, expanding from 3,000 sqm up to the current 6,000 sqm: not only an important area in terms of dimensions, but also an area that allows the stock of about 5,000,000 kg of materials, divided into special profiles rounds, squares, hexagons and flats, plus 1,000,000 kg from the warehouse in Zola Predosa (BO).
Material cutting
A precious, on-time and fast service.
Gieffeacciai is equipped for customized material cutting with the latest generation of sawing machine including the KRS and Forte band sawing machines, plus the new Tsune circular sawing machine.
Thanks to CNC 4.0 functions, the setting and control of this sawing machine is remotely controlled directly from the office, making the production precise in terms of quality and quantity, allowing 24 hours operation.

Thanks to the extreme flexibility that has always distinguished the company, together with the support of the qualified and loyal partners, Gieffeacciai is able to supply customized material, according to the specifications provided by the customer regarding heat treatments, surface quality, chamfering, bar length, up to the packaging of the product in wooden boxes or otherwise, depending on the customer’s needs.
Consulting and quality control
Gieffeacciai is able to directly intervene, in a very short amount of time, without resorting to external structures, thanks to an in-house laboratory that allows both preliminary checks of any anomalies found in the quality of materials and checks in the event of a claim, thanks to its own technical staff.
In addition to the long-standing equipment, Gieffeacciai has equipped itself with SPECTROPORT, a new portable analyzer, which guarantees the benefits of OES technique (Spark optical emission spectrometry). The instrument accurately analyzes elements such as C, P, S, B, Li, Be, Ca, Si, Mg e Al, even at low and critical levels, in a maximum of 10”; it enables effortless “point & shoot” performance, which minimizes operator intervention and decision-making.
For specific demands, the company can provide the consultation of a process and product manager.
