GF3plus: the product born from Gieffeacciai’s 20 years of experience which is now proudly available for its customers.
GF3plus is a material that has the purpose of increase the limit of reference standards in order to achieve the “defect zero”.
GF3plus eliminates the death zone, resulting from the traditional control carried out on the ends, making the bar fully controlled and without possible defects.
Another feature of GF3plus is related to the chamfering: with this product, the customer can choose between different kind of chamfering:

• sawn on one side and milled on the other;

• milled on one side and pointed on the other.

This allows to guarantee the maximum centering of chamfer and, in the case of manufacturing on automatic lathes, to minimize scrap.
