GIEFFEACCIAI still alongside Pietro Perolini: the 2025 world champion claims victory at the Imola circuit
GIEFFEACCIAI has confirmed its support for Pietro Perolini for the 2026 season, renewing a partnership that continues to embody the values of excellence, determination, and the pursuit of performance. Perolini, the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe World Champion, will once again carry forward this shared commitment to success.
The start of the new championship has already delivered great satisfaction: on the prestigious stage of the Imola Circuit, the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Perolini secured his first victory of the season, reaffirming the talent and competitiveness that led him to the world title last year.
During the Lamborghini Arena weekend, held under extremely variable weather conditions, the driver from Crema, sharing driving duties with Josef Knopp and racing under the colors of Oregon Team, delivered an outstanding performance. After a challenging start in the free practice sessions, the team’s hard work made it possible to find the ideal setup for the #61 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2.
In Race 1, on a damp track and in a race made even more dramatic by two safety car periods, Perolini demonstrated remarkable composure and racing maturity, taking the lead in the PRO-AM class and holding it all the way to the checkered flag. It was a significant victory — the first of 2026 — and one that immediately reignites the reigning champion’s ambitions for another world title.
Race 2, contested under heavy rain, further confirmed the crew’s competitiveness, as they expertly managed extremely difficult conditions and wrapped up an intense weekend just one point behind the championship leaders.
