One of the company’s existing instruments is the SPECTROPORT portable analyser, a high-performance device that allows the advantages of the OES (Optical Emission Spectrometry) technique to be exploited even under dynamic operating conditions.
Fast and reliable performance thanks to OES technology
The SPECTROPORT enables extremely precise chemical analyses in extremely short times – up to 10 seconds. It can detect even light and critical elements such as Carbon (C), Phosphorous (P), Sulphur (S), Boron (B), Lithium (Li), Beryllium (Be), Calcium (Ca), Silicon (Si), Magnesium (Mg) and Aluminium (Al), even at very low levels, while maintaining a high reliability of results.
Simplified operations with “point & shoot” mode
The instrument is characterised by extreme ease of use, thanks to its “point & shoot” operating mode, which minimises operator intervention and simplifies the decision-making process. This functionality, combined with the portability of the device, allows analysis to be carried out directly on-site and very quickly, optimising quality control time.
360° control: chemical analysis and hardness measurement
Alongside the SPECTROPORT analyser, Gieffeacciai has also been equipped for some time now to measure material hardness, thanks to the use of a professional hardness tester. This enables comprehensive chemical and mechanical tests to be carried out, guaranteeing the full conformity of the treated materials with the specifications required by the customer.
